Personal Training
Our certified personal trainers have developed quite a reputation locally for their technical skills and their enthusiasm. One of our trainers is even nationally ranked in the Body Training Systems program (see our group fitness classes) and she teaches instructors all over the country.
These folks can help you squeeze out that last rep and keep a smile on your face at the same time.
Choose from one-on-one training or small group training. All at reasonable hourly rates.
Please contact the trainer of your choice directly. Payment is accepted at the front desk of the Federal Way Community Center. Bring a copy of your receipt to your first training session.

Gail's specialty is listening to her clients to find out what their goals are and then teaching them what they need to know to accomplish those goals. She teaches several group exercise classes which include weight lifting, kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, dance and step aerobics. Chris believes that a healthy workout program should not only make you strong and lean, but also focus on reducing pain, improving posture and increasing mobility. He is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday early morning to early evening and Thursday and Friday mid-morning to early evening and on Saturdays in the mid-morning.

Eva enjoys all types of organized activities (walking, running, biking) and participates in triathlons and the Seattle to Portland bike rides. After her kids went to college, she decided it was time to pursue a career doing what she loved so she enrolled in the Fitness Trainer Program at Ashmead College in Fife. She graduated in February 2006, and is now an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. She is available mid-mornings, evenings and some weekends.
Rates and Fees
Personal Training Rates
- 1 session, one-on-one = 55 mins
- Per session price = $48/each + tax
- 10+ sessions = $45/each + tax
Introduction to Personal Training
- 1 session, one-on-one = 55 mins
- 3 sessions = $125 + tax
Introductory packages are for first-time training clients only. All sessions must be used within 30 days of the initial appointment.
Small Group Training
- 6 sessions = $150 + tax /per person
(2 to 6 participants. No prorating. Must purchase a minimum of 6 sessions)
